Yesterday was Chandler's 10th birthday. In our family, the birthday person gets to pick which restaurant they would like to go to. Chandler chose Gameworks. Somehow I knew he would. What 10 year old boy wouldn't want to go to game heaven. We had a nice dinner and then spent the next 3 hours playing games. No that wasn't a typo, it really was 3 hours! I was so exhausted from chasing Carson all over. I swear that boy has super energy. He didn't even have a nap the entire day. I thought for sure he would be knocked out on the way home but no such luck.
When we got home, Chandler opened up his presents and we had cake and ice cream. Chandler told me he wanted a baseball themed cake, go figure haha, so I did my best and I think it turned out pretty good for an amateur such as myself. Hubby was even impressed.
