I have so much I need to get done before we go on vacation but I just can't seem to get off the computer and get to it. I'm so unmotivated. Today hubby had another physical therapy session. We stopped by Sonic on our way there for half price "happy hour" where all drinks are half off, except of course for the drink I pick. Therefore not allowing me to partake in the happiness of said hour. It was more of a complain hour where I spent the next 5 minutes whining and questioning hubby about why my drink did not constitute a "drink" that would be half off. My unhappiness was short lived as soon as the girl handed me my Orange Creamslush and I deemed it worthy of the title "My New Favorite Drink in the Whole Entire World" I even let hubby have one tiny little sip. It tastes just like Orange Julius which I had so many of back in my teenage mall shopping days. Ahh the good 'ol days of walking around a mall, checking out the cute guys and hanging around the food court for hours. Now when I go to the mall it takes about 25 minutes total because Carson is too old to keep
trapped in a stroller so he is pretty much a walking tornado who dashes in and out of stores and leaves a path of destruction in his wake. I have to plan the most shortest route possible to the store that I need to go to and then I'm in and out before the boy realizes what's going on. It's like planning a covert military operation. I also make sure not to pass the indoor play area which sometimes means going upstairs and then back down the other side to avoid it. I don't think he even knew that such a place existed until he was about three and that was by accident as I did not plan my route very well that day.
After hubby's appointment we came home and I cooked burgers on the grill. We had bought some "candy" onions and tomatoes at a farm stand the other day so I sliced some of them up. The onions are really sweet and not oniony at all. Carson heard me say candy onion so he said "I want one" and went and got an onion slice and took a bite. His face was priceless. He spit it back out and said "it's not candy, I don't like it"
Alright, I must force myself to get off of here now and get some stuff done or I will be running around like a chicken with it's head cut off come wednesday night.

Your new blog look is lovely. Good luck with all the vacay prep.
I really thought you were going to say you got a Mocha Java Chiller! That is my absolute favorite Sonic drink and I'm always upset at how much I have to pay for it too! Why is it some drinks don't count as half price drinks? I think they do that with all of the good ones! No fair! I'm glad you got to enjoy your drink though. I know what you mean about the mall. We just have little malls here with no play lands, so no worries for us, but our boys think they have to play when we go to Menards!!! ha ha!
YAY!!! Orange creamsluhes...from SONIC>>> SO YUMMY!!!!! I think Carson would fit right in with my boys!! I love the post..hugs Natalee
I don't know about you, but as a former mall-rat, I still think of it as a fun hangout when alone. If my DH is home with the girls, I love meeting friends there. Just like when I was 15 , I may not have the money to spend, but walking around and looking is like therapy...
I always send my boys (husband included) to the indoor play area when we go to the mall. They all hate shopping. It gives them something to do and gives me some mommy shopping time! Good luck with your pre-vacation stuff!
I love your new blog background.Good luck on the vacation preparations!!!
LOL! I'm rooting for you! You CAN remove yourself from the computer! You CAN! ;-)
Going to the mall without kids is a distant memory for me. As close as I get, is going to Walmart for stuff we need, on my occasional Girls Night Out.
Did you get your packing all done? Thanks for stopping by my blog! The boys aren't always quiet though...for the most part they are so loud I have to threaten to turn the monitor off, and for some reason they don't want it off! Oh, and we are only about an hour and a half or so from where you live! They recently put a Sonic in not far from us too, and I think that since it's new that's why I love to go there so much too! :)
Hi Miss Paula!! just found your blog, you sound just like me! where is the motivation? I love your etsy shop I think I died a little...needless to say if someone ever gives me an allowance that is where I will spend it all...thanks for sharing!
You know, we have a Sonic here but for some reason we never eat there. It's probably b/c they only have an outdoor eating area and I could see my kids running out in front of the cars at the drive-thru. But that drink does sound really good so maybe I'll stop by there real quick one time.
I laughed about your trip to the mall....I so totally get it! I actually try to avoid the indoor play area too but unfortunately my kids know exactly where it is and then they start throwing fits. Yeah, the mall is definitely a whole new experience once you have kids, right?
Happy packing!!
Enjoy your vacation...I should be packing (again), too...but just got the visit ...
I wish we had a Sonic nearby-sounds so yummy! Hope you have a great vacation!
OMG!!! Sonic, Orange Cream slush & Orange Julius all in the same sentence?
I use to crave Orange Julius drinks when I was pregnant.
"And" I am craving one right now, but I'm not even Prego? :0/
LOL!!
Thanx for stopping by my page and leaving a comment.
