This past Saturday, Charles and I went to his 20 year high school reunion. He felt the same way about seeing some of his old friends and classmates. It was kind of funny because the room was broken up into different cliques. There was the group of cheerleaders, the group of jocks, the band people and then the rest who really didn't fit into any sort of group. I guess some things never change.
Last week we ordered Caitlyn's graduation stuff. Still so hard to believe this is her last year of high school. Last night we were at Target and she mentioned that for her 18th birthday, we should go have dinner at The Melting Pot. I looked at her and said "18th?" She looked at me puzzled. It took me a minute because for some reason I thought she was only 16. She just laughed. Either I'm in denial of her getting older or I'm getting old and can't remember things!

Oh, I know...you gotta love FB for that reason!! I've been able to reconnect with tons of people from school!!
And yes, reunions are that way. It's funny how everyone gets so pumped up about it, and even after a couple of days. They want to make plans to get together, etc. After a few days, the novelty wears off.
What a lovely post! You both look adorable!
That senior year goes so quickly. I can't believe it's announcement ordering time already. I think we ordered caps and gowns at the same time as the announcements. Wow!
I've heard of The Melting Pot!
FB is great that way... until your primary school and high school classmates start posting pics from way back when! :) All in great fun, though.
It is amazing to see how people have changed over the years (but in some ways have remained exactly the same too)!
It all started with just one old classmate who found me on FB and then it started to snowball!! But as Alicia says, the novelty runs out after a while.
That is a wonderful picture of you both! It is funny how the High School cliques stay together even after all those years.
Still in cliques? That's too bad. Glad to connect with you on FB, though!
